Do Yoga at Your Desk



Research has found that prolonged sitting – like the kind you do all day at work – is sabotaging your health. One study even found that sitting can increase your risk for cancer by more than 60%.

The Yoga@Work mobile app can reduce your sedentary time at work and improve your respiratory and circulatory health by increasing blood flow. Doing simple yoga poses at work will also improve your overall productivity, energy, and mental capacity.

Here is the user flow for the Yoga@Work mobile app:
  • Users (with an established profile) login to the app by entering a user name and password.
  • Users can create a profile by providing the following information:
    • First and Last Name
    • Gender: Male or Female
    • Birthdate
    • Height
    • Weight
  • Users can update their profile at any time.
  • Once logged in, the user can scroll through over 50 yoga exercises and poses to do right at your desk.
  • Once an exercise is selected, a visual demonstration and text-based instructions will guide the user on proper form and breathing techniques. User can also choose to listen to audio instructions.
  • Users can select their favorite exercises and save them for easy access.
  • Users can track their progress and how many calories were burned.
  • Users can set alerts any time of the day to remind them to do their yoga exercises.
