I am sure you have heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Well, I believe that is true, but it does not always have to consist of eggs, bacon and pancakes. A delicious, hearty smoothie will keep you full until lunchtime.
I typically start my morning off with a light yoga routine and a smoothie before I head off to work. My favorite is a Peanut Butter Banana smoothie.
The addition of peanut butter provides protein and makes you feel full so you won't indulge in that doughnut or bagel as a morning snack.
Here is my simple Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie recipe:
1 banana
2 cups Almond milk
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Dash nutmeg
Crushed ice
Instructions:
- Place all your ingredients into a blender and give a whirl until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!
I love smoothies and I do find that they are a great meal substitute. I like the way you break down a simple recipe. Though your voice is present in your writing I feel that the piece would be a little stronger if you added more information like maybe the health benefits or statistics on how many people prefer smoothies for breakfast. Overall, your writing is clear and concise but I feel that a little more content will add a bit more substance and strength to your work.
